Percussive in a way that calls to mind early martial industrial and with melodies that are depressive and yet catchy, Dusk in the Old Woods pulls the listener into its wordless narrative instantly, and maintains that hold to the end. This is the sound of a mournful troop of dwarves marching home after a pyrrhic victory on a long campaign, yearning for a home they barely remember. Favorite track: Returning to Lake-Town.
